Continuing to show the world why he is one of the best poker players in the game, Mike Matusow finished 8th in the $1500 NL 6 handed final table. The event which started with 1600+ players, saw Matusow get to the final table only to get coolered on back to back hands. In a tweet, prior to the final table, from his Twitter account @themouthmatusow, Mike wrote, “reason i will take down wsop gold tomorrow ,god loves me and im in good place mentally and im playing with confidence #rungood” However, it was not that time for the Henderson, NV resident, who won over $40,000 for his finish.
This would have been Mike’s 4th WSOP gold bracelet and his first NLH since 1999 when he won the $3500 event that year.
