Team DeepStacks: Lead Pro
In 2010, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi re-wrote the records books and barely missed one of the greatest accomplishments in the modern poker era.
Born on Jan. 5, 1981, in North Miami Beach, Florida, “The Grinder” began his career in the game when he left college to pursue a life as a professional poker player. After some modest successes early on, “The Grinder” exploded on the scene when he won two World Poker Tour titles, including the 2006 Borgata Winter Poker Open championship. He topped off that year by winning Card Player’s 2006 Player of the Year award. With over $8,900,000 in lifetime earnings and 19 career titles, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi is a force to be reckoned with anytime he sits down at a table.
However, “The Grinder’s” success doesn’t end there. He began the 2010 WSOP by winning the $50K Players Championship for his first WSOP bracelet and over $1,500,000 in 1st place money. “The Grinder” then capped off his first gold bracelet win by making the final table of the Main Event where he finished 5th for $2.5 million. Then, in 2011, he capped off another great year with a win at the WSOPE in Cannes, France where he won his 2nd bracelet in the 10k split format event for $446k.
Michael Mizrachi is considered by many of his peers to be one of the greatest players of all-time and DeepStacks is proud to have this rare talent as a member of Team DeepStacks.
